Ros Asquith

Ros Asquith was theatre critic for Time Out, City Limits and the Observer before emerging as a cartoonist. Her cartoon strip Doris ran for 10 years in the Guardian. Ros wrote and illustrated the bestselling Teenage Worrier series about angst-ridden Letty Chubb, published by Piccadilly Press and Scholastic. She has also written picture book texts illustrated by other people and illustrated books written by other authors, including Anne Fine, Dick King-Smith and Francesca Simon. She lives in London with her jazz critic partner and their two sons.
