How you can read review copies:
Sign up to NetGalley
If you’re happy to read digitally, many of our books are available on NetGalley ahead of publication. We’re more likely to approve your request if you put plenty of information in your profile, including your blog or company name and any social media links.
Sign up to Page Turners.
HCP Page Turners is an exclusive list of influencers who will receive our catalogue, Bookmark This on a monthly basis and can request paperback review copies of books.
See our FAQ below for more details.
Things to note:
- Please don’t send us requests via social media
- Please do not request the same title multiple times.
- We only have a limited number of early review copies. A review request does not guarantee you a book. It is at our discretion to select reviewers for each title.
- We often send out review copies in stages, rather than all at the same time. This applies to proof and final copies.
- If you have requested a book for review purposes, and have been successful in being selected for a copy, we expect the book to be featured on your digital reviewing platform.
- Proof copies are supplied on a ‘not for resale’ or trade basis and we trust recipients to honour this. Should HarperCollins become aware of a recipient selling, trading or giving away proof copies received from the company (unless with prior written permission from HarperCollins), we reserve the right to no longer supply proofs to said recipient. If you no longer wish to keep your ARC it should be disposed of responsibly.
- Please inform HarperCollins via an email to publicity@harpercollins.com.au if your details (for example: Instagram handle, address, email etc.) change so we can update our database.
We aim to foster an environment of book lovers who interact in a positive and constructive manner. We acknowledge that not every book is to the taste of every reader, however bullying, hate speech, unfair and cruel commentary toward our books and authors will not be tolerated and may lead you to being removed from the list.
Please make sure you are tagging the relevant Publishing social media account when you are reviewing each title (see our tags here).
Happy reading!
FAQ
Can I join your influencer list?
You can apply for our Page Turners list here.
If you are on the list you should receive our catalogue monthly with a form to request books.
We review and accept applicants on a regular basis. Please be advised that application does not guarantee you will be accepted, due to the high volume of applicants!
I’m in New Zealand? Can I be on your list?
Please contact the HarperCollins New Zealand team to join their creator list!
I have applied but I haven’t heard anything yet, when do I find out?
Due to the overwhelming volume of applicants we cannot respond to everyone individually. If you receive the Bookmark This catalogue then you are a HarperCollins Pageturner. If not, there is no need to reapply, we have not added you at this time, but we frequently review the list and accept new applicants.
Am I on the list?
We don’t have time to get back to everyone individually, if you receive the Bookmark This catalogue then you are a HarperCollins Pageturner. If not, there is no need to reapply, we have not added you at this time, but we frequently review the list of applicants and accept new creators.
Why have I not been accepted?
We received over 1500 applications for our Pageturner program. We reviewed every application but due to the volume could not accept everyone at this time. There are a variety of reasons we accept or do not accept a candidate which may include;
- Follower count
- Ratio of book reviews to other content
- Frequency of posting
There is no need to reapply, we have not added you at this time, but we frequently review the list and accept new applicants.
Why am I no longer receiving Page Turner emails?
In order to maintain our Page Turners program we regularly review members and sometimes make the call to remove someone from our list. We might remove a member for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to;
- Reselling or trading proof copies
- Bullying, hate speech, unfair and cruel commentary towards our books and authors
- An inconsistent posting schedule
- Consistently requesting and receiving books but not posting about them to your accounts
- A significant drop in followers count and/or engagement
- We can no longer find your social media account(s). If you have changed your handle we encourage you to reach out by emailing publicity@harpercollins.com.au to make sure we have the most up to date information.
If you have been removed from this list you can reapply and we will re-evaluate your account for approval.
